Nordic walking is unique in the way that it can provide benefits for everyone whatever age. It is low impact, achieves high results for total body fitness, it will improve posture and can ease some aches and pains when learnt, and practised properly and regularly.

  • Can burn up to 46% more calories than ordinary walking
  • Therefore very effective for weight loss
  • Tones the upper & lower body at the same time

Other Benefits

  • Walking with poles reduces pressure on knees and hips
  • Chat as you go - it's very sociable
  • It combines exercise with the great outdoors which is proven to be a mood booster

Meet at the small gate at the Powys Lane entrance (from the tennis courts follow the path all the way down to the gate)

Cost: £5 for a 1-hour session.
