People with Voices is a free monthly poetry workshop which provides a platform for people to share their ideas, and create in a non-judgmental space. No previous experience of poetry needed!

People with Voices was founded in 2018 to provide a welcoming space for people of all ages to come together to create art collectively. Every month the creative workshop is based around a theme, and the group takes part in a number of creative exercises which stimulate open discussion, making and poetry jamming. The ethos of the sessions is based around shared values of community, organic creativity and exploration.

The workshops are run by local Poppy Medenis (@rayofpoppy) who enjoys writing songs and poems and loves holding the sessions as a way for her to connect with people locally and explore what creatvity is in the calming space of Palmers Green Library.
