refashion and reuse social advert

Refashion and Reuse Socials every Tuesday evening 7pm-9pm.

Why not come and join Liz for an evening of sewing where we encourage you to focus on altering and mending second hand or worn clothes to create something that can become a favourite once again? Turn some old jeans into a fabulous bag, add some embroidery detail to a boring sweatshirt, restyle a frumpy skirt to make it your own. Bring along anything you want to work on and share your ideas and creativity with like minded sewers in our friendly local workspace. This is not a teaching class but advice and support with your projects will be available each week from Liz.

These socials will cost £8.00 to attend and you will have the use of cutting mats, rotary cutters, scissors, threads, sewing machines and worktables. Refreshment will be provided. To guarantee a place please book a slot using our website but drop-ins will be accommodated where possible. Come alone or bring a friend, sibling, parent or child (16+).

Bring your own projects you are working on, £8 (this is not a teaching workshop)

Date: Every Tuesday, 7-9pm
COST: £8
DURATION: 2 hours, drop in any time
Tea, refreshments and biscuits are provided!

While we admire and support the Christmas campaigns that we see pop up in December, we also know that help is urgently needed all year round, each and every year. As some people pack away after the festive break, we are still here.

Our support is not limited to a food package, but it leaps beyond - we form connections, we listen and respond to everyone who steps through our doors. We open up a warm, safe, environment which aims to feel like a home away from home.

For us to continue to thrive and grow, and keep supporting as many people as possible, we are asking you to become a Friend of Cooking Champions. Even a donation of just £5-10 per month can make a HUGE impact on the lives of those who come through our doors.

Pop to our People's Fundraising page to donate, and we promise to keep you updated with how your support is making a difference. Thank you, we appreciate you! Team Cooking Champions
