While we admire and support the Christmas campaigns that we see pop up in December, we also know that help is urgently needed all year round, each and every year. As some people pack away after the festive break, we are still here.
Our support is not limited to a food package, but it leaps beyond - we form connections, we listen and respond to everyone who steps through our doors. We open up a warm, safe, environment which aims to feel like a home away from home.
For us to continue to thrive and grow, and keep supporting as many people as possible, we are asking you to become a Friend of Cooking Champions. Even a donation of just £5-10 per month can make a HUGE impact on the lives of those who come through our doors.
Pop to our People's Fundraising page to donate, and we promise to keep you updated with how your support is making a difference. Thank you, we appreciate you! Team Cooking Champions

A specialist financial website has reported the completion of a £12 million "senior development loan" to the Dominvs Group to finance the redevelopment of the Fox pub and its former car parking area.
The report notes that the loan will be used for the redevelopment of two existing commercial units and the creation of 54 new one- and two- bedroom apartments, 16 of which will be affordable homes. It says that one of the existing commercial units has been pre-let to a gym provider, while the second unit — the Fox public house, let to Star Pubs & Bars — will be redeveloped with the retention of the existing façade. The 0.64-acre site at One Fox Lane was acquired by Dominvs Group in September 2018.
The first of the "units" referred to in the report will consist of part of the former pub, left of what was once the main entrance on Green Lanes, and the former retail premises on Fox Lane immediately to the south. The redeveloped pub will be on the corner of Green Lanes and Fox Lane and will occupy a much smaller footprint than the Fox did previously.
