Question 1.  What do think is good about the area?

Good – housing, the parks, independent shops, pubs , atmosphere

Question 2.  What do you think is less good about the area?

Less good – litter in the town. Betting shops

Question 3. What would you like to see to improve the area?

Improve – more independent shops (more closed ones)

Traffic -traffic is too congested in town so use residential streets as rat runs. Often speed down street.

Question 4b. Specific aspects – parking

Parking  -town shopping could be encouraged if first hour was free

Question 4c. Specific aspects – clutter

Clutter – why is there a post in the middle of the pavement near starbucks. (Possible phone mast?)

Look of shops – some beautiful doorways in local housing. Some institutions have destroyed their front architecture

Question 4e. Specific aspacts – type and range of shops

Type of shops – good range of shops. Could do with more up market clothes shops

Question 4f. Specific aspects – amount and use of pavement space

Pavement – parked cars that encroach beyond their drive a bit of an issue. Pavement often in poor repair.

Question 4g. Specific aspects – the Triangle public space

Triangle – needs something to make a feature of the area

Greenery - reasonable
