broomfield park runnersAnja moved to PG from Brighton three months ago. She took up running and was hoping to join a local running club - but couldn't find one.

"I see so many runners and walkers when I go to Broomfield Park so I thought I'd just start a running club! I'm simply calling it the Broomfield Park Runnersand it's meant to be super informal, just a way to meet like-minded people and support each other on our running journey. I'm keen to include anyonewho wants to run, walk or otherwise move.

"I'm gonna start with meet-ups on Thursday mornings at 7.30am at the main gates at Aldermans Hill/Derwent Road and see how we go. I've made a WhatsApp Community for comms to people who are interested, you can find it here: bit.ly/broomfield-park-runners."

Amendment

This article was amended on 11th October to reflect the fact that the meetings will now be on Thursdays only, not Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We are now doing THURSDAYS ONLY for the time being (too many commitments :D) but I can't wait to meet some of you soon!
