A decision about whether or not the North Middlesex University NHS Trust should become part of the Royal Free London Foundation NHS Trst will be taken in early October.
Healthwatch Enfield is hosting two events to give local people an opportunity to discuss and influence the future direction of the North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust. Participants will have a unique opportunity to talk directly to the Chief Executive and other senior leaders at the North Mid about their priorities and how they think the hospital should develop over the next five years.
A meeting is being held on 7th June with the aim of increasing the number of people who are members of Patient Participation Groups at their GP surgery.
A local group set up to defend NHS services in Enfield is asking everyone concerned about thefuture of the Health Service to join their surgery’s Patient Participation Group.
Dr Martin Blanchard of Defend Enfield NHS explains:
“We are asking people concerned about the future of the NHS to join their local Patient Participation Group because it will help us discover in more detail what exactly is going on in Enfield and will provide more opportunities for us to probe and question.......

The new hospital is within budget, it will open in August - as promised four years ago - and they've raised more money than expected from the sale of spare land. What about services and quality?
