The Enfield Society are auctioning a painting depicting a stretch of the New River where it flows through Town Park in Enfield.
The framed painting, by Mrs M N ("Molly") Bending, measures 16″ x 12″ (40cm x 30cm). It was framed in November 1988.
The painting was given to the Society by one of its members, Philip Taylor, and will be sold to the highest bidder. It will be on show at the Society's evening talks at Jubilee Hall in November and December.
The closing date for bids is Friday 26th January 2024.
