Go to original article Enfield Council have introduced a scheme whereby residents with severely restricted mobility can pay to have a disabled bay close to where they live reserved for their use alone. A one-off payment is required. This information was promulgated in a news item published today on the Council website . The news item refers readers to the same website - however, there is nothing about the new scheme on the Blue Badge page. |

The above contribution amazes me because to my certain knowledge Haringey Council have been providing this service for at least 25 years . Hard to imagine that Enfield and all other councils have not been doing the same thing.
Fairly recently the beneficiary of the scheme that I knew died so these days I regularly park on the space; as do various local people. |
