The Urgent Care Centre at Chase Farm Hospital is currently open 8am – 10pm every day but local decision-makers and providers are looking at the possibility of changing this. It is proposed that the Centre closes one hour earlier, at 9pm every day. This would mean that you could arrive up to 9pm to be seen before having to use an alternative service elsewhere.

The deadline for responding is 19th July 2019.

At Healthwatch Enfield we want to hear your views on what you think about the proposed changes to the opening hours of the Urgent Care Centre at the Chase Farm Hospital. It’s easy:

  • you can complete our short online survey (and share it with your friends and family so we can hear from as many people as possible)
  • you can call our office on 020 8373 6283
  • you can e-mail us on

Why are these changes have been proposed? Urgent Care Centre at Chase Farm is the busiest between 8am and midday but the last hour of service, between 9pm and 10pm is rather quiet with, on average, only three to four patients attending. This accounts for 2.75% of the people who attend the Urgent Care Centre every day.

Please note that while engagement on these proposals is ongoing, the Urgent Care Centre at Chase Farm Hospital remains open to walk-in patients from 8am-10pm.
