Next week the Dugdale Centre will be presenting a play written by an Enfield resident designed to alert young people and their parents and teachers about some of the dangers that thoughtless use of online social media can cause.

logoMy Name is Tom, a new play by Alan Spence and his company Theatre is Real Life Productions, runs from Wednesday 13th to Saturday 16th January.  The play explores the problem of e-safety and new media for young people and adults and takes the form of  a typical "boy meets girl" story, but one that goes horribly wrong. When Paris and Darnell are exposed, they aren’t the only ones.

The play is part of an inter-generational education project supported by Enfield Council, the Enfield Residents Priority Fund, Face Front Inclusive Theatre, St Anne’s Catholic High School (Enfield), Woodside High and Riverside Schools (Haringey) and the BBC Get Creative scheme.
