In London, plastic accounts for 9% of household waste by weight. 70% of which is plastic packaging, and the majority is single-use. The everyday choices we make, as consumers, play a key part in reducing plastic waste and pollution.

This survey is being conducted by North London Waste Authority. The survey is open to people who are 18 years old or older and who live or work in the borough of Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Islington and Waltham Forest.

We would like hear your opinion about switching to reusable alternatives (e.g. water bottles, coffee cups, carrier bags or containers). Throughout this survey, please refer to your own experiences, beliefs and behaviours when answering the questions. There are no “right” or “wrong” answers. Your opinion is important to us - please be as honest with us as you can.

The data will be analysed and will help inform our activities and form part of a final report where all data will be presented anonymously, without any means of identifying anyone involved. The findings may also be shared at conferences and with our constituent boroughs.

At the end of the survey you will have the option to enter a prize draw for a £200 Love2Shop voucher. To do so you will be asked to click on another survey link and provide your email address.
