202402 burns night special

Rock and blues with the Disclaimers + support

Includes haggis, neeps and tatties

Doors open 7.45pm

Always a very popular night - you really shouldn’t miss this!

Edinburgh-based Big Alan Craig brings his Anglo/Aberdonian band The Disclaimers to celebrate Burns Night with an eclectic selection of blues, soul, country and rock. Alan provides guitar, mandolin, harmonica, vocals and the best address to the haggis that you will ever see. The rest of the band comprise some of the finest musicians around, graduates of BIMM London with musical direction by Lindsay Fraser-Craig. This year sees Big Alan running a Burns Night Tour starting in Edinburgh with performances in Rutland and London before culminating at the Southgate Club on January 27th.

This has always been a hugely popular evening with a portion of haggis (plus vegetarian option), neeps and tatties included in the ticket price available during the evening - it’ll give you something to wash down with your single malt, which the Southgate Club will be offering at members’ prices; and you won’t have to walk five hundred miles to celebrate either.

Support also retains a Scottish feel and comes in the form of That Blue Patch with Glaswegian songstress Amy Belle.

Doors open at 7.30pm; support act at 8.00pm and two sets from Big Al & The Disclaimers starting at 8.30pm.
