New opening hours at Bowes Road library from 4th July: Monday: closed The changes introduce morning openings on Tuesdays and Thursdays and afternoon opening on Fridays, but do away with late afternoon/early evening openings and Saturday afternoon opening.
Southgate Circus library is moving to Southgate College. The current library will close on 11th July and the new library will open on 1st August. |

The comment on the information for Southgate Circus library implied that the move was related to the use of volunteers. This is INCORRECT, The closure of existing Southgate Circus Library on the High Street frontage was part of the land sale between LBE and the College so that LBE can increase primary education provision on the Michenden site and the college can demolish the existing library and make use of the land

Does that mean that the new primary school will be on the old Michenden School site rather than at Grovelands? |
