Learn to Make Bunting

There is always an excuse to hang bunting!

Any celebration is a bunting celebration. Not just for birthdays and you may be interested in making for upcoming street parties (the Coronation is the weekend of 6th May).

So come and join us at Stitch in making this fun accessory for any room or for any celebration.

Our resident seamstress Pat Stevens will guide you in cutting your triangles (or any shape you like) sew them, then stringing them together. This class suits anyone from beginners upwards that can sew a straight line and want to improve their skills in making something that can be used over and over for years to come. You can bring your own fabric or we have a wide range of fabrics to choose from in store (including Coronation colours) available for purchase.

What we provide :

We have Janome sewing machines for you to use, cutting mats , scissors and rotary cutters.

Light refreshments and biscuits will be provided.

What you will learn:

Design a bunting and cutting a pattern

Joining with bias binding

Improve basic sewing skills.

We provide the sewing machines and all the equipment you need.

You need to just bring the fabric you would like to use (or you can purchase from our Stitch collection- please arrive 15min earlier to do so.)

Time and Date: Saturday 29th April, 1-3:00pm

Duration: 2 hrs

Cost: £35.00

WHAT TO BRING : A notebook and pen if you wish to jot down ideas and fabric of your choosing.
