Parents of children attending Bowes primary school say that a nearby toucan crossing on the North Circular Road is 'dangerous' because it does not give pedestrians enough time to cross.

Dave Cockle from the Enfield Society has been assiduously attempting to winkle out information from Network Rail about the Palmers Green Access for All project to provide lifts at the station. Last week he eventually received some 'notes on general progress'.

Healthwath Enfield have published the results of their recent research into the state of dentistry in the borough. Readers will probably not be surprised to learn that the majority of dental practicies (34 out of 43) are not currently accepting new adult patients on the NHS, and three of the nine that are have a waiting list.
