Tuesday 16th May: JaZanne Arts present an immersive arts experience including music, song and dancing at Park Avenue Disability Resource Centre, 65c Park Avenue, Enfield EN1 2HL. From 2-3pm. Everyone will be welcome.

Jacqui Livingston will be performing excerpts from Jazanne Arts' touring reminiscence theatre 'Exchanging Dreams'. Jacqui will take the audience on an interactive journey sharing memories from the Caribbean and UK, inviting the audience to singalong to popular songs and inviting them to join in with the dancing. The show is particularly suitable for people born in the 40s, 50s and 60s and goes from childhood memories, to dancing days, visits to the seaside to singing in the rain.

The show was created with the help of a range of people who shared their stories, memories and favourite songs. 'Exchanging Dreams' is particularly suitable for people living with dementias and their families/carers, with plenty of music, projected photos and film, objects and smells to stimulate memory and most importantly, spread joy.

Thursday 18th May: Enfield Dementia Action Alliance are holding an information stall in Palace Gardens Shopping Centre, Enfield from 10.30 – 2pm.

Friday 19th May: Elsyng House Care Home, 1 Forty Hill, Enfield EN2 9HT are holding a Dementia Friends Information Awareness Session from 10-11am where you can find more about how you can help develop a dementia friendly community. Book your place via

At 11.30 – 12.15 Gaye Ilsley from Real Time Care will talk about the importance of a Lasting Power of Attorney. Gaye’s talk will cover what Lasting Power of Attorney is, why it is important and options of how to put LPAs in place. It will be beneficial for anyone who has not got around to putting in place an LPA or anyone that has the older style Enduring Power of Attorney. Book your place
