Open-air theatre: The Hound of the Baskervilles

Saturday 22 July 2023 7.00pm - 9.15pm

Broomfield Bowl, Broomfield Park, N13 4PZ

Following the death of Sir Charles Baskerville in mysterious circumstances, the family doctor, James Mortimer, comes to seek the help of the world-famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, and his trusty assistant, Dr Watson. Mortimer wants to ensure the safety of the last of the family line, as he moves into his ancestral home on Dartmoor. Can Holmes and Watson get to the bottom of the fiendish hound legend that is said to haunt the Baskerville family before it is too late?

British Touring Shakespeare bring their renowned strengths of energy and accessibility to an innovative adaptation of Sherlock Holmes' most chilling mystery, which will make for an unforgettable evening of open-air theatre.

There will be a bar selling alcoholic beverages, soft drinks and snacks. This will raise money for the Friends of Broomfield Park.

British Touring Shakespeare is the UK’s premiere national and international touring Shakespeare company. Since 1999, they have performed to over a hundred thousand people around the world, winning critical acclaim for productions that are accessible and inspirational. BTS productions have delighted audiences from London’s West End to Germany and beyond, including a command performance for the King of Dubai and his family at the Ritz Carlton, Jumeirah Beach.
