Bernie Grant Arts Centre, Town Hall Approach Road, N15 4RX

Bernie Grant Arts Centre celebrates Windrush 75th Anniversary!

Energised by Professor Laura Serrant’s poem “You Called… And We Came”, our 4th Windrush Festival pays tribute to the hopes and dreams of the Windrush generation through an ambitious programme running from Monday 19th to Saturday 24th June.

Join us in our iconic venue for film, live music, art exhibitions and much more, with a line-up of incredible Black talents coming together to celebrate the Windrush legacy.

Get ready for a summer vibe of joyful performances including Reggae Choir, Pegasus Opera, Dionne Reid, Elsa James, DJ Donnie Sunshine and delicious Caribbean & African food.

Tickets start at £5 with our accessible Pay What You Can (PWYC) offer with FREE tickets for under 2s and over 65s.

Alongside our packed programme of headliners across the week, this year’s festival includes our Windrush Block Party; an outdoor family friendly summer afternoon and evening of music and live performances, a Windrush Mural project and a special Black Lens film night screening of the film classic, The Harder They Come, in our Theatre.
